Serving a two-semester term, the Abbot is at the forefront of coordinating our active members and overseeing the Reunion Weekend Planning.

The Summoner collaborates closely with the Abbot in planning the Reunion Weekend and acts as a vice-president.

Friar Councilor

The Councilor manages organization applications, the selection of new initiates, and maintains communication with various student organizations and deans for recruitment and nominations.

Friar Centennial Teaching Fellowship (FCTF) Chair

The FCTF Chair coordinates The Friar Centennial Teaching Fellowship Award and assists the Abbot in planning the Spring Cocktail, where the recipient is celebrated.

Josh Bedingfield

Friar Almoner

The Almoner, our treasurer for a semester, is in charge of noting financial transactions, liaising with the Provost Office, and other financial responsibilities as assigned in tandem with The Friar Abbot.

Friar Scrivener

Serving for one semester, the Scrivener acts as the secretary, managing our website, meeting minutes, and coordinating certificate creation.

Cecilia Lopez Cardenas

Friar Advisor

Cecilia Lopez Cardenas, a former Friar Abbot and current member of the UT Rec Sports Communications team, serves as the invaluable Friar Advisor. Her role is pivotal in liaising between the past and present, offering a wealth of knowledge and guidance to our current actives, especially The Friar Abbot.
